How do I save a tweet to Mimfold?
Install the Mimfold Saver browser extension on Chrome or Edge and sign in with the same account you use on the mobile app. When you see a tweet you want to keep, click the Mimfold icon next to the post. The image, video, source link, and tweet text are sent to your library. Open the Mimfold app on your phone to see the saved item.
How do I share a meme to WhatsApp?
Open the meme inside Mimfold, tap Send, and pick a contact from the list. Mimfold opens WhatsApp (or another messaging app you choose) with the meme ready to send. You can also use your phone's standard share sheet to send the meme to any installed app.
How do I delete my account?
Open Mimfold, go to Profile, tap Settings, then choose Delete Account. Confirm the deletion. Your account, library metadata, and stored media will be removed from our systems. You can also email mimfold@gmail.com from the address tied to your account to request deletion.
How do I delete a single item?
Open the item in your library, tap the menu in the top corner, and choose Delete. The item is removed from your library and from our servers.
Why does Mimfold ask for contacts permission?
When you tap "Send to a contact", Mimfold reads your device contacts so you can pick someone to share the meme with. Contacts stay on your device. Mimfold never uploads, copies, or stores your contacts on our servers. You can deny the contacts permission and still use Mimfold; you just will not see your contacts inside the share screen.
I lost an item I saved. Where did it go?
Items are tied to the account you were signed in with. If you cannot find an item you saved, first make sure you are signed in with the same account on every device. If it is still missing, email us at mimfold@gmail.com with the rough date you saved it and we will help track it down.
The browser extension is not working. What can I do?
Make sure you are signed in with the same account inside the extension and inside the Mimfold app. Try refreshing the X (Twitter) page. If the extension still does not respond, remove it and reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store. If the issue continues, contact us with the browser version and a screenshot.
Is Mimfold free?
Yes, Mimfold is free to use during launch. Some advanced features may become part of an optional premium plan in a future release. We will always make pricing clear before charging anything.
Where is my data stored?
Mimfold uses Firebase (operated by Google) to store your library and authenticate your account. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
